The Trump administration has succeeded in its efforts to derail a U.N. resolution on rape as a weapon of war. The U.S. House of Representatives just voted 424-1 to formally condemn white supremacy and white nationalism, in the wake of comments made last week by Rep. Steve King, a Republican of Iowa. MSNBC notes Congressman King voted for the Resolution.
House Resolution 41, filed by Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC), specifically names Congressman King, and includes the most controversial part of his remarks that have cause a firestorm, HuffPost reports.
